RADIOHEAD
In 2007, Radiohead exited its record deal with EMI and promptly self-released their new album 'In Rainbows' as a 'pay as you want' download.
Sandbag played a vital and instrumental role in facilitating the web presence for the ‘pay what you want’ model which has been described as ground breaking within the music industry. On the day of release Sandbag successfully delivered in excess of 5 million tracks in the first 6 hours.
Working with the client directly this whole project was 9 months in planning before going live with a two week window to ask fans to ‘pay what they want’ and to then deliver both digital and physical content directly to the consumer.
